Harrisburg Association wants to support lay leaders and outreach efforts in our association.
Clergy Support Grants
Grants may be provided to help offset costs incurred by Clergy for a variety of enrichment activities. Grants may also be provided for educational materials and books on Stewardship, Green Justice, Vitality, Church Growth, Pastoral Care, or other related topics. Lay Leadership Grants
These may be provided to help offset costs incurred by churches or lay leaders who attend Lay Leadership Events. These events may be sponsored by Penn Central Conference, Lancaster Theological Seminary, other UCC-affiliated groups, or non-UCC organizations. Grants may also be provided for training materials and books on Stewardship, Green Justice, Lay Leadership, Vitality, Church Growth, or other topics. Outreach Grants
These may be provided to individual churches or multiple churches working together, for programs which primarily benefit persons, programs, and communities, not part of the church itself. Click here for more information, and for an application form.
Snavely Fund
UCC Congregations within Dauphin County may apply for funds from the Snavely Fund, for renovations or repair work in the sanctuary portion of the building. Click here for more information and an application.
